Since I have started this (Only 1 week ago) I have had dozens of women tell me, "I would do that, but I cant pull of Red lipstick, or "Red is not my color" Well its kind of ironic that for this series I have women WEARING Red lipstick, because its not about what you are WEARING at all. It is about feeling BOLD and BEAUTIFUL!
Each women should know they are beautiful.
After the shoot I ask women 2 questions
1. What is does Beauty mean to you?
2. What makes you feel Beautiful?
From these answers we should learn that its not what we wear! Its what we do and how we think. Its those unique things about us that makes us beautiful!
PLEASE don't respond to my request to doing a BBR shoot with "I don't look good in RED." or "I cant pull of RED lipstick." Because you see, its not about the lipstick at all.. Its about your BEAUTY!!
Although I have not yet done the BBR picture yet.. I plan on it!! But for now.. you can know I put the lipstick on.. and thought about what I think beauty is.
I will talk more about my answers to the 2 questions after my picture are done :) but for now I will say this:
I want my boys to learn what REAL beauty is.
I want them to see each women's unique beauty when they look at them
I want them to respect women for these beautiful traits.
I want them to show the women in their lives that they think they are beautiful.
The only way that will happen is if they learn it from me.
That means I have to believe it.
That means I have to show it.
